Nice people. No pressure. Clean new dealership. Good selection.
I'm here right now and I'm inspired to review while I wait. I had an unexpected dead battery during a road trip and drove the car straight here after jumping it. No appointment, just strolled up on a busy Monday morning asking for help. I usually go to Hewlett VW in Round Rock (wonderful service there), but Google took me here instead die to user error.I was mostly helped by Will Krumbach, but many more staff members had a small hand in assisting me and making sure I was okay, even sales team members. And I was a problem customer, too - they had to re-jump my battery because I turned it off before entering the service area (d'oh). They also did a multipoint inspection and found dirty filters to replace, probably because I'd missed my state inspection by several months (d'oh!),which they also took care of. They even noticed my insurance ID card was expired (D'OH!) and printed a new one for my glove box.All this took about two and a half hours, which is about expected when you don't even have an appointment, no@f0 They kept me happy with a free coffee bar with a barista that served me a delicious iced vanilla latte and laughed about my situation with me. The Wi-Fi was decent enough to allow me to get some work done, and the waiting room was comfy and had huge windows into the service area. I also loved getting a little video via text with the mechanic showing the dirty filters and pointing out things like my healthy brakes and tire tread wear. Clearly they value accountability and well as hospitality.I'm now sitting in my car ready to go, but I have to finish this review and say that I couldn't be more pleased. Leasing a VW has eased the burden of car maintenance immeasurably, and Onion Creek is evidence of that. Thanks Will, I'll be back! (Hopefully not too soon, but you know, when I gotta)
When we needed to buy a new car because someone rear ended us, we were excited to go shopping! That excitement was really short lived. The first dealership basically told us come back when you have more money. The second one tried to put us in dept for 5 years with a car way out of our budget. Then we made it to Volkswagen. They were straight forward and listened to what we needed. Our salesman Ruben was wonderful. He never tried to push anything on us and treated us like we were there to buy a 100,000 dollar car. He talked to his manager Jim and they found the perfect deal for us. We went shopping for a car and ended up leaving with way more than we expected. Thank you Ruben and the VW team, because of you guys we will be Onion Creek Volkswagen customers for life.
