Stopped in for a quick test drive on a Saturday night about 45 minutes before closing, and had an excellent experience working with Scott B...so much so, here I am writing a Yelp review. Was not expecting the level of service on Saturday night, given that they were about to close, but Scott answered every question I had and we did some negotiating for pricing on lease. The price was right so we set an appointment to come back on Monday to look at colors and trims in daylight. I arrived back at VW Monday morning and Scott already had the car pulled up and ready for me to look at. We did a little back and forth on the paperwork and I felt extremely taken care of the entire time by Scott who was laid back, thoughtful, and great to work with. Finance guy was fine, too. Not sure from the other reviews if everyone is receiving the same treatment, but everyone I interacted with was great. Even was greeted by the VP/owner, and it was a bonus to know that I'm doing business with another person of color. Would have been a 5 star review except the front desk receptionist was never at the front desk any of the times we stopped in and I'm pretty sure I saw them milling around by the coffee bar talking with the barista while I stood around at the front waiting to be greeted. A minor thing, but come on... Overall great experience for someone weary of dealing with all the interactions that go into getting a new car. No interactions with the service department yet, so crossing my fingers it's consistent with the buying experience.
Don't waist your time trying to do business with Hewlett VW. Onion Creek Voltswagon beat their offer on a New 2018 VW Atlas by almost $4,000.00. I wanted to trade my 2014 VW Passat, Hewlett told me I needed to put new tires on it so they could sell it. Onion Creek took my vehicle as is and said it was in excellent condition and gave me $500.00 more on that trade then Hewlett Voltswagon offered. If you want a Sweet Deal do business with Onion Creek Voltswagon. If you want to be Screwed and not even Kissed go to Hewlett VW for a No Vaseline deal. Drove my New Atlas home that very day. Thank you Onion Creek VW
My husband got a verbal quote for Tiguan S. He came home, we discussed it and then we decided to go for it. He called the dealership, talked to a dealer that gave him the quote and the dealer told him the car has to be transferred from Houston and that my husband needs to give a deposit to get the process started. So he drove back to the dealership... but as he was writing the check, he wanted a price guarantee, just something in writing, to confirm the car and the price. All of a sudden, the price just got higher by 1000$! Now the dealer's manager would not honor the quote! I wish he was able to speak with someone more senior in this dealership. Entire experience was very unpleasant. UPDATE: Kyle, the dealer that found the car we wanted and gave us the quote, made the deal go through. He drove the car from Houston and worked hard to make this happen. Hence the updated review : one star for initial experience, five stars for Kyle and his effort. He really made a difference.
My service advisor Ralf was really great. Took care of everything, got me a shuttle back to my place while my car war being worked on. Fair price on the work I got done.
I bought my first car at this location about a week ago. I purchased a 2018 VW Jetta Wolfsburg with James, he is amazing. Buy from him. I went in thinking I would walk out 5 hours later with a headache and maybe a car, but I'm happy to say I was wrong. James and Kendall made this the easiest purchase ever. Everyone there makes you feel welcome and not in the annoying overbearing kind of way. Who knew one could leave a car dealership and tell their friends about the badass coffee the barista makes. Thank you to everyone at the location. You guys rock. I am so happy for my purchase and I will be recommending this VW location to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle.
I first purchased a used Tiguan with Justin at Onion Creek and the sale was flawless! Justin was very helpful and the financing department helped me out so much! 40 hours later, a Lady hit me totaling my new Tiguan!! I was so upset! I called Justin the next day and let him know that I would be back to buy a car through him because my first sale was so easy. That next week I came back and purchased a Golf TDI through Justin. Kendall helped me out with all of the financing, poor guy it wasn't an easy task. He helped me through dealing with my old loan with my Tiguan and a new loan with my Golf. Since my new loan wasn't yet paid off by the insurance company, I was getting approved with outrageous interest rates but Kendall persisted to get me a lower interest rate. The whole Onion Creek VW team was so nice, even other members of the team recognized me from the previous week and sympathized with me over my total loss of the first vehicle. As long as this dealership is open, I will be a returning customer. Just hopefully not after 40 hrs again Ha..
